We are custodians of God’s earth. This implies that we have the responsibility of caring for and nurturing every aspect of His remarkable creation. Schoonbee Landgoed is serious about this duty and passionate about nature.

The 1250 hectares of verdant game farm was always envisaged to bring nature back into our lives. It is a privilege to live so close to the indigenous nature and it is our pleasure to share it with all the visitors to the farm.

The team decided to invest in the dynamic game breeding industry in 2005. Part of the game farm is now used for the breeding of high value exotic and indigenous game. The breeding area is safe from predators.

Schoonbee Landgoed focuses mainly on:

Sable Antelope, Coffee Springbok, Black Saddle Impala, Black Impala, Livingstone Eland, Kudu, Nyala

The game farm in addition houses Blue Wildebeest, Giraffe, Zebra, Gemsbok, Springbok, Tsessebe, Impala, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Grey Duiker and Steenbok.

If you are lucky on a game-drive, you might catch a glimpse of our esteemed giant sable bull “Kilimanjaro” [son of the “Klein Piet”, famous for his outstanding genetics].
